Hi Guys,
I want to buy a new headset with a mic and have a question. The desired set up is to keep all game sounds coming through my surround sound system and to have only ventrilo (incoming) in the headphones. Does anyone know if this is possible?, and if so what I need to do it? For example, special headphones / program, ect...? Thanks, Gollum |

If you have the option in ventrilo like we have in teamspeak to choose your sound input then yes its possible to do what you inquire about.
I think a safe bet is to use a usb headset with sound onboard(in headset) Don't know if a normal headset would suffice but it might. I'd say borrow a normal cheap ass headset from someone and try it out with ventrilo. In windows set your default sound to your surround set and in ventrilo try to select the headset as input device. |
