It's got plenty of untapped potential.

The first couple days was frustrating with the game, it was mostly the controls and hugely trackIR. I ended up disabling trackIRs x,y,z translation and just kept the head rotation/look around stuff... Much better like that.

Having a lot more fun and success now that I've changed that, still got to go in there and tweak more settings and I'm sure it will get better for me.

We should all hopefully be very happy after this next patch early in the week. I keep messing around with it but it's hard to with the frame rate issue.

Default Agreed ... very good.

Hello.

I'm running the sim as of tonight and I'm very surprised at how well it's performing. Over water with the graphics full up I can fight smooth battles. I tried the Hurricane bomber intercept and it was really running nicely. I managed to shoot down 1 Heinkel whereas in IL-2 46 I'd probably have taken out 7 so that tends to indicate this is more realistic! Flying over London is not smooth but not a slideshow and the feeling of speed at low altitude is astonishing compared to IL-2. Get this fully multi-cored, get SLI working and it'll be amazing. Oh ... and make those trees a collision detectable object please, taking off through them is weird. Oh and enable force feedback, I truly miss it and ended up stalling and spinning many times because my control stick is 'dead'. Good work dev team, better than I'd hoped. Now improve it please.
