Default multiplayer problem

I'm lucky if I'm able to stay in a room more then 5 mins. It tells me "connection to the server has been lost" or something like that. Lots of game crashes too. Now it plays fine on singleplayer.

Any fixes for this problem? I've seen others with same problem but without a fix.

Sounds like your connection. If your connection is particularly poor then you will find it hard to connect to other people. Can't think of a solution apart from get a better connection...

Second that one. Its gotta be the connection.

Also, your connection won't be as good using a wireless setup, seems to work way better hard-wired to your internet router (at least on the Xbox side of things).

But yeah, your connection sounds like its pretty weak if you can't stay in lobby.

Get high-speed cable internet and all problems solved

I had the same problem with BF1943 even though every other game still worked. All I could do was plug directly into my modem until I bought a new router which fixed the problem.

If you are useing a wireless connection run a network cable to your PS3

Also try turning off search for media servers on PS3 Settings.

Check configure on your modem The exact ports that have to be open are in game manual. Check to see if Modem /router has a DMZ setting if so enable it this openes all ports forwarding .

That being said I have had more disconcts from IL2 server as of late so may be a network issue with game server
