What's holding you back to upgrade to SP3? It's been here for a zillion eons!

Personally, I wouldn't want to spend another minute behind an SP2 machine.

Anyway, last september I upgraded to Win7 64 bit after running XP for 8 years. I'm glad I skipped Vista. I still have a two XP installations for emergency on other partitions. I started with Amiga OS 1.3, then Amiga OS 3.1 and MacOS 8.1, switched to Win98 SE and NT 4.0, used Debian and Solaris,Then Windows 2000, then XP and Ubuntu. Uptil now Win7 has proven to be the most stable, versatile and crashproof yet!!!!

ME was something of a Jekyll-Hyde OS. On some systems, it was a very nice and stable OS. On others, it was a nightmare.

I had ME on an old Sony laptop, and it was rock solid. Never had an issue with it at all.

OH...Win 7 Professional x64 here.
