Default God I missed BoP

I had to move house recently and that combined with other things meant I hadn't played the game for nearly a month or more. Finally found my ps3 disk last tonight and put my iPod on Ron Goodwin artist with the game

Between Where Eagles Dare, 633 sqn and BoB themes and some great team battles with Winny I was back in BoP heaven.

Nothing touches this game full stop

I'm inclined to agree.. I've been hammering CoDBO and GT5 recently so my BoP disk was feeling all neglected. It's the only game I've got that is over a year old that I still play.

The BoB soundtrack is incredible, its what i listened to when i was dogfighting, but one track in particular - Battle in the Air

Battle in the Air is an epic track, REALLY sets the mood and instills the fear into youu when your attacking someone and then get "jumped" from behind and your getting shot. Epic!!! I really want a dogfight now!!

Since loosing all my data though i kind of lost the buzz of fighting, knowing i had no unlocks anymore and had lost everything. Now i just enjoy free flying in my Hurricane over the Englosh countryside.

Thanks for the offer mate, its ok though. I shall try and struggle on again the old fashion way. Thankfully my favourite ride (the Hurricane.... obv ) is already unlocked so all is good. I really should get online and fly again soon.

Last night i had the real urge to fly, after watching a programme on tv....

Time team. Anyone know it?

Well in the episode i watched last night, they were looking for the wreck of a spitfire in northern france that went down in early 1940 after combat with the luftwaffe.

They found the plane, what was left of it and as they zoomed out of the dig, a lone Spitfire flew over the site.

The sound of that merlin engine flying over the forgotten wreck of another spitfire downed 60 years earlier...

emotional.

As a side note, the pilot of the spit that went down in 1940 was killed in action during this particular combat mission. They laid a wreathe at his grave in france during the episode. Touching and nice to see.
