Default Radio Compass vs Repeater Compass

Hey guys,
Can someone please make it clear to me? What is the difference between "Radio Compass" and "Repeater Compass" in relation to IL2. I'm trying to translate the "Navigation improovements" section of the 4.10
manual to russian.

And still didn't find any translation or description of the "Repeater compass". I only found a description of radio compass:
Radio compass principles are based on existance of two antennas - pin antenna and ring antenna. Direction from pin antenna to ring antenna should be perpendicular to the plane of the ring antenna. So in case if the radio transmitter is located in the same direction as pin antenna located relatively to ring antenna the amount of signal will be equal to zero. In case if radio transmitter will be located coplanarly to the plane of ring antenna the signal value will be srtongest. So we can distinguish the direction to a signal but only in scope of a hemisphere. It means that if we are moving in some direction and a signal is zero(niddle is centered) wee cannot understand where is the signal origin - infront or behind(0 deg or 180 deg).

This is all I found. Can someone help me?

Direct translation of the "Repeater compass" to russian gives nothing. At least I didn't find anynithing that makes sense.

The repeater compass in RL is just that, a repeater of the main gyro compass, as you already knew, i assume.
In il2 its, afaik, the same, a indicator for the main gyro compass, indicating north in relation to the planes axis.
The radio compass, as you've already written, points toward the choosen NDB or Radio Station.

What seems to be confusing a few people is that in 4.09 the repeater compass used to constantly point towards the next waypoint like an RDF but in 4.10 it is just a compass. When you move the double lines on the Repeater you are not moving a directional aerial to get the strongest signal; all you are doing is marking what bearing you would like to fly. It is just a handy guide to help you fly straight.
