When they weren't flying, they were listening to something like this....
...and yes I mean both sides. http://www.dump.com/2010/12/19/andre...mpany-b-video/ |

Heh, do you want to know how it was in Finland? During Winter War dancing was prohibited. During the short peacetime between Continuation War and Winter War dancing was allowed for one hour a day.
Then, when the Continuation War started, even talking about dancing was immoral because men were at war. Some cultural differences ![]() The video was nice anyway, made me laugh in the end even though I hated that tea party dancing and singing at first. |

That was authentic Finnish wartime song. Sorry for the lack of flying theme but I have a background on Panzer Corps. Though always wanted to be a pilot ![]() Another modern version of the same song, so not authentic wartime, but for Christma's sake. After this I will continue waging war against you all ![]() |

[QUOTE=AndyJWest;205889]And of course (in English, and German):
A video clip I found some time ago I keep watching every so often. I am certainly not one for "shmaltz" or any such soap opera nonsense, but I thought this might provide a glance into what actually happened way back when. http://www.wimp.com/remarkableexperience/ I believe it kind of supports the original post? ![]() |

Listening to that, couldn't they just forget their differences?
