a youtube video showing surprising amounts of air to air dueling between a buchon and a spit.

some sequences made me think that the pilots are actually trying rather than just going thru the motions. After all, no electronics here.

some views from the cockpit made me think that certain sim moments arent that far removed from what it was actually like, specifically around the 1 minute on for a few seconds.

Cool vid!

It's one of the Legendary dogfights for sure, but the Spanish Merlin 109 kinda puts a damper on it for me. 109's needs Daimler Benz engines to be awesome, in my opinion.

Man, I get tingles every time I hear a DB-powered Bf109 do a flypast. Merlins are nice but the D-B takes the exhaust note cake .
