Many people, like myself run il-2 on Intel Macs. Use bootcamp, & install XP (or maybe windows 7 - haven't tried) Then install il-2 on the XP partition & away you go ![]() This is NOT an emulator, but runs windows natively on the computer, plenty fast. |

Given the ease with which modern Macs can be made to run Windows, I'd think it highly unlikely that any PC Games publisher would consider the market for dedicated Mac games worth supporting.
Or am I wrong? Is there any dedicated Mac games software available that remotely compares with what is available for PCs? |

There are some companies that release Mac versions. Blizzard for example with their upcoming Starcraft 2 real-time strategy game, but then again they are a huge company with a lot of available funds.

As far as I know there is no serious flight sim running on MacOs. Oleg would actually sell copies for MacOs very well in my opinion. But I have no idea what it takes to translate the code for mac.

X-plane is a serious sim for the Mac, Windows and Linux.
IL-2 and BoB are already restricted to a small market, hence to release it for the Mac would be to try to sell to a small proportion of another small market, I don't think it will happen unless the work involved is negligible. |
