Default Friday 2010-06-11 Dev. update and Discussion Thread

Hi,
Unfortunatelly, today I wasn't able to make new shots. On my PC compiled version was crashed all the time today and guys found why too late (I tried to build special missions for screenshots). So I will show these that were done more early.

Wow looks great. And then we can see the difference between a brand-new spit and one which has been useful neglected for a while. thanks for the update.

Looking good. Nice to see some of the lesser-known aircraft make an appearance. Will the Me108 be flyable?

The shot of the Italian aircraft looks photographic, and I love the clouds in the 108 shot.

Looking great, have concerns over my machine being able to run at that detail level though, are we going to have adjustable detail settings for aircraft and if so what level are we seeing in the shots?

Thumbs up

Nice pictures. Nice weathering on the Spitfire and the Walrus is beautiful

If planes are very much used in a campagne and the engine is almost broken and almost al the paint is gone, can the engine be changed and can the plane get a new coat of paint?

Great pics, weathering looks good on spit. And Bf-108 looks beautiful, really shame if we won't be able to fly it...

Nice planes !! that's my first post here
i've been around for some time but never took time to thank you !
these screenshots are great !

but I was just wondering, will the water be more "agitated" in tough weather ?
like some bigger waves ? it would be great, flying at almost sea level in a tempest and having to take a bit of altitude to avoid being hit by a wave !

(although i can understand it can be pretty hard to do such a thing, especially whith boats and floatplanes...)

Very nice screen shots! The last few weeks are showing nice progress
The Macchi 200 is very nice.. or is it a G.50?.. love the clouds and depth in the view

There seems to be a hole in the stabilizer of the spits? Is this just a rendering issue or skins issue.. easily fixed I'm sure.. it is visible also on the far spit..
