Exclamation XBOX Connection Problems?

Has anyone noticed there have been a lot of connection issues online lately?

There have been a lot of people getting “kicked-Out” and “laggy” rooms lately. It seems you can’t put up a room with more then 6 people with out lag, and even then I sometimes get a little “Micro-Lag” (plane flies very sluggish, enemy planes are jittering slightly, bullets scoring does not seem to be working properly, etc). I’m not sure if this has to do with the actual internet or if just some players have bad connections and will slow the whole room down, any of you smart “IT” type people have any ideas what might be up?

Also how is the MP on PS3 been lately – if it’s better maybe I’ll get one, heck, you even have the patch too!

Yeah live does seem to have been pretty skitty the last couple of week. Problems with the marketplace not being able to get info. I cant join my bros party but he can join mine, other party problems (hardly new amirite), oulnt start squads one day in bc2 demo. Random stuff mainly which could all be explained by lag. If it's not consistant I wouldn't say its individuals connection, more likely some lag introduced server side though I don't know how much that would affect games in progress.

Saying that though I have been noticeing that planes are jumping more but I just put it down to living in the sticks and having a poor connection. If I can get a meg in peak times thats alot lol. I only really play this and Bad Company online which has intermittent lag from their servers anyway so I don't have too wide a view.

Edit/ If you afford a ps3 why not just upgrade you pc/get a new one/get WoP. It really does seem like the definitive version. How awesome would it be if they could get a publisher for that (not 505) and do a perfect port XD

I have been considering it Stealth, I have a new “Dual-Core” processor laptop that I might try it on just for fun, but to get a whole new rig would cost a lot more then the $300 price of the PS3, especially if I wanted a nice big LCD monitor.

Get the demo if it works you could get a decent hotas and even trackir for that price, if you got a big/new enough tv you can easily connect the laptop to it. Plus if you check the thread on the yuplay you can even get half of wop as their way of saying sorry you got screwed by 505
