Default Possible bug in Spitfire Mk.IXc 25lbs

S!

Was testing some planes offline and found out the following "feature" in the Spitfire Mk.IXc 25lb boosted version. Using modded or stock game 4.09m gave similar results. Settings used: Crimea map, 12:00, 100% fuel, Default armament, flying at sea level, WEP/Boost ON all the time.

1) At 6min Overheat message appears, engine temperature around 125'C and speed 560km/h (speed bar).

2) At 12min the engine begins to make the grinding sound, temperature at 130'C. Speed still at 560km/h.

3) Around 13min temperature drops sharply to around 110'C below Overheat condition, speed drops to 460km/h.

4) At around 50min I run out of fuel with engine still running and stable temperatures, speed 460km/h.

So something is not quite correct with this bird. Maybe someone from TD or Maddox Team could take a look in this?

Anyone to do with getting this corrected will tell you its a feature not a bug.

S!

At least brought to attention of the devs. Their decision what to do with the plane. It is far from being historically accurate now, with it's indestructible engine.

You would do better to email them as discussion here gets a bit shall we say confusing.

You can post the "bug" here
