Arcade Team battle tournament PS3

Seeing a well organised sim tournament has given me the incentive to organise one such tournament for arcade.

A 4 v 4 team squadron tournament

i know of two teams already. This is an opportunity to get together with friends and have fun.

We all know ww2 was not won by individual pilots but by elite squadrons lets see if we can't get some going in this great title.

(i understand the recent release of MW2 will slow the organisation of this tournament i expect to have it running for the february)

Rules are as follows
20 minutes engagement
any conditions (bar storm) to be agreed by teams before said event
aircraft/loadout limitation no rockets
all matches are for fun any angry text or voice exchanges will result in disqualification and forfieture of match in question. As will any breach of aircraft/loadout limitation.
Will be a group to tournament depending on numbers (i'm confident theres enough players in arcade), group winners/loser brackets potentially

I hope the patch comes soon...

don't understand what is your prob with the i 153
guys it seems u are afraid of the 153 but90% of the guys engage the dogfight in tight turns with the 153 and after they said " it is unfair!!!"
hey guys choice the best tacticals vs the 153!!!that is all!!!
if u found this plane too good ...use it!!!!and please stop to say "it is unfair" or "i153 is a plane for noobs"
a lot of players don't want fight vs i 153 because in my opinion they are afraid to loose instead of fight and try to find a good tacticals vs i 153: it is too easy !!!!!!!!
now i begin to use the spit to be good with and other plane and i don't cry because the jets are too speed,because the guns in turret are too dangerous,because the 153 is "unfair"no guys,no !!!
i m not a good player and i know it but i think the better pilots can fight and win vs all the planes even the 153!!for the moment i see just one who can beat all the planes :drdeath5000

Mostly depends on difficulty settings. It's not great in sim/realistic, but I heard it's a bit ridiculous on Arcade, because it can also fly at warp-speed.

GUYS WHO WANT TO TAKE PART BUT CANNOT FIND 3 FRIENDS TO SQUAD WITH LEAVE YOUR NAME AND I WILL INTRODUCE YOU TO OTHERS WHO CAN'T FIELD A SQUAD OF 4, THAT WAY YOU CAN GET SOME PRACTICE IN TOGETHER.

LOL, on Sim, I have no problems with any of the planes. If someone chooses an I53, I just take the Bf-109K4 and vise versa... Arcade, well thats a whole nother story, Like stated above, it can fly at warp speed XD
