Kinda sucks for the people who arent online really, but then, if you werent online, i guess there would be no real need/desire to use it.

You can only play Strike online.
Like he said, if you aren't online there's little use for it, just in the trainer where there is no bombing.

You can bomb in training. Just set the ground to enemy, and you can target them and bomb them while avoiding the enemy in the air. I do it in training mode all the time.. I have even done it with the B-17. Kinda fun to play around with it in training..

I fly in training mode a LOT, so for me it would be great to have. I rarely play online, but to just have the B-17 to fly around in the single-person training would be sweet. I could then set-up a flight of 16 B-17s and fly my Bf-109 thru the formation.

So for me... yes there would be a GREAT need/desire to use the B-17 in single-player mode.

Hmmm.. That is an awesome idea.. I think Im gonna do that right now, lol.. That would be cool just to see a fleet of B-17, and try and fly through them.. lol..

A new fun thing to give a "shot".. hehheh

I think they should offer the B-17 as a download, even if they charge a little bit for it.. Because it is ALLOT of work and time to get one on line. I got one, but man, while doing it, I questioned if it was gonna be worth it..

Oh LORD, that is INSANE... I just set it with 16, B-17 on veteran, and tried to fly my little Yak-1B through them... I got a few shots off, but didn't take any down before they're gunners got me.. jeesh.. that was fun.. gonna do that again.. hahah

It would be cool if you could at least give yourself 2 or 3 wingmen to help ya out..
