Use the console for items
It's pretty obvious that since you can use the console for the crystals, runes and other magic, you ought to use it for equipment too.
In this link there are the codes, only that they don't work in game normally from the console. Anybody know what I have to do to make the items apear when I use the console? http://translate.googleusercontent.c...Tuz5f4C00cRrBw |

Why cheat? The game is easy enough as it is...

Probably because he wants to try a specific item combo without playing 10 hours first. Remember that fun isn't always derived by surpassing a challenge, it can also be because you made a spiffy castle in your sand box .

Fair enough, it's a solely single player game after all.

That's right. I want to try out all the set items, which I think are very cool. I.e the knight's set or the madman set. And I have played this game for a long long time

Not sure if you are still having problems, but basically you would go to the console and then type
item battle_axe presto, it shows up in the inventory in slot 1. Do note it is case sensitive and if you use the gift bag mod, the "cheat code" items are referred to in the manual. Zechnophobe, yes, it is very handy for all sorts or pre-planning. One good reason is to check if certain skills are worth it. e.g. Level 2 Tactics, Voice of the Dragon etc. Some skills take too much of a pre-commitment to get to so a simple save/reload cannot suffice. Besides, I would not feel good if I saw a cheater mark on the high score at the end. |
