Rig 'n' Roll Vs. Kings of the Road.
I tried yesterday to play King of the Road. It's not a simulator. But I must say that the behavior of (physics, physics of semi-trailer, FFB, to some extent, better AI) is much better than the RNR.
How is this possible?? Softlab dismissed clever programmers employed and employ stupid people?? I do not understand how this can be worse. Is it possible to return this physics, FFB............. to RNR???????? It would be 100% better the physics. Even artificial intelligence run better. Much cut sharply, brakes, but otherwise at certain stages of the run a lot better .....omg. Last edited by USA Trucker; 05-30-2012 at 02:57 PM. |

Maybe it's because it's a new engine and the didn't implament some things. Or maybe the spent so much time on the map that they didn't finish it. I hope so. SO Next patches or games would fix it. |

King of the Road is a ******* classic. I don't get tired to play it all day long, it's just incredible...
But I must say... I've played RnR for two hours and got bored and tired... |

In the 80’s & 90’s, when I drove for 2 company’s, my instructions were usually “be there by the morning, afternoon or night”. Sometimes I would get a time, but it was something like “be there by around 9am”. Never a concrete time. I have seen a few habitual late drivers get fined, or dismissed, but this was rare, and those guys were as I said habitual late drivers. I was usually early, because I didn’t want to wait for the other guy to unload his truck. Clients would never refuse a delivery, because it would cost them more money to not have a load, than to have one late. This is especially true for consumer retaled deliveries (supermarkets, drug stores, auto parts, electronics, etc). Last edited by USA Trucker; 02-19-2011 at 02:45 PM. |
