I hope you want this as a target rather than as a flyable. If you want this as a flyable you are in serious need of a mental health professional

Blackburn Skua and Blackburn Roc would be nice. But we would need at least the Aircraft Carrier HMS Eagle for it.

For the axis side, the currently AI He-115 flying boat and maybe the other Heinkell floatplane that we once saw in the development update screenshots (the biplane one that was used to rescue downed pilots), or the Do-17 for something with even more relevance. The rest is easily covered by adding different variants of the existing types.
For the allied side, adding photo-recon capability to the Blenheim (the camera is already part of the 3d model, switch to the gunner position, press your "open canopy" key, go to external view and you'll see it looking inside the fuselage's hatch opening) and opening up gameplay to secondary and support roles like photo-recon, air-sea rescue and coastal command operations. A Wellington would rock but it might be too complex, but the smaller Hampden would also be great to have. Now that's a lot mind you, so if i had to choose only one what would it be? Well, after reading an article in a quarterly aviation publication that my father is subscribed to i think i have it narrowed down. I think a superb addition would be the Swordfish. It flew everywhere for the entire war, from bombing advancing German columns in Dunkirk (they even tried to engage LW bombers there) to crippling the Bismarck, from operations against convoys and Italian-held ports in Albania flying from mountain airfields in Greece to participating in the disastrous attacks on the German ships during the channel dash, from North Africa and the Med (raids on Taranto in Italy and Bomba bay in Libya) to the Pacific, all the way to the battle of the Atlantic and hunting U-boats with radar and rockets until the final days of the war while operating from short-deck escort carriers and merchant ships with a flat deck, using rockets for assisted take-off from those short, sleet and ice covered decks. It's a fun little plane that's easy to get into due to its simple nature (throttle and mixture only, fixed pitch prop), can carry a widely diverse payload (torpedoes, bombs, flares, rockets, radar), has a historical relevance to the map we have and a huge one through the course of the war overall, plus it would be able to see use in future expansions all the way to war's end with slight 3D remodeling and changes (a Mk.II is simply a Mk.I that can carry rockets and has a different engine, while a Mk.III is simply a Mk.II that can't carry a torpedo because it has the radar fairing slung between the wheels). In other words, it makes sense for us to have it and it's a type that can maximize the gains from the developer's time working on it by being present in so many theaters. |

If I recall correctly at the time of the battle the RAF had a coue of squadrons of Curtiss tomahawks, these were originally destined for France but with their fall were diverted to the UK. Should make a great middle fighter with performance between the hurri and spit at low to medium altitudes. Or some froggy types so that we can make our own BoF missions.

The Swordfish would be a good laugh, would be fun trying to torpedo ships
