Avatar's weapons not producing sounds...

Hello Folks,

Just started playing what seems to be a fine game, except that whenever my avatar uses a weapon, it doesn't produce any sounds.

As far as I can tell, all other sounds are working fine - but if I'm using it, said item, whatever it is, won't emit any sound effects.

Any detailed advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

This may be caused by your sound configuration, own weapon sounds are likely to be played via central channel in 5.1 or 7.1 config. What did you select in game audio options?

Thank you for your inquiry.

In the Sound Options menu, one only has the capability to adjust the sound volume for Music, Speech, and Effects. There aren't any other options.

I tried looking for a config file, to see if I could alter it via Notepad, but I don't recognize any of the files listed in the game's directory.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

i think the the configuration in your sound settings may have changed..try adjusting it.
