Default what is it....new game.

ok here's the rules. #1 you have to guess correctly what aircraft from BoP <<<<that is the restriction ( must be a BoP ac) the pic is from. #2 IF you do guess correctly....you have to post a pic of a part of a BoP ac for us to guess....and so on. so here ya go. SO you better have something good for us if you win....lol. this is the first pic...good luck. What is it??

The 262 had the more conventional and stable trike undercarriage did it not?

I do agree its a tail wheel though. Meaning it could be one of many things..

I-153 tailwheel?

Correct, although some of the prototypes did have tail wheels, untill it was found to be VERY unsafe, and a few planes went pop!

That prototype must have been a death trap, if you throttled up to quickly and you'd have an afterburner unit in the engine!

Good catch olife. you are correct. its the tail wheel of a I-16. ok now its your turn to post a pic for us to guess.
