Default Unbalanced races?

Been playing a few games with two friends over the net, but we had o stop since the guy playing orcs never won.

Are the orcs supposed to be so completely underpowered? One human knight or the blood elves is usually enough to wipe out almost all his units.
The best game the orcs has had so far was when he lost but managed to kill 3 of the human units. Is this really the way it's supposed to be?

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a trick, some special tactic the orcs can use to win? Or are they just that poor?

Don't recall the exact name, there's a 3 player and a 4 player map in the English version of the game, they are both the same, Orcs stand no chance.

Multiplayer maps were tested and balanced, so IMO he is choosing wrong tactics for orcs.

The races themselves are not imbalanced, though individual maps and especially players can be.
