Space Rangers HD: A War Apart - how to mod Sounds?

I want to remove (or blank out) a few of the dock sounds. Primarily the electrical and robot sounds that repeat while docked.

In the older games there is a pkgunpack program that works, but I can't get that to work with this newer game.
