Yes!!!!
I have some very good news!!! Finaly i got Cryostasis to work!!! And did you know what was the cause of the ntdll..error?? It was the sound Card!
I change the sound card accelaration to basic accelaration and the game started without any errors!!! But before i start playing the game i want you to give me some advice on how i can play the game without crashes, bugs and the best perofamnce possible!! |

Now you have a fantastic game experience to look forward to ;D The only advice I can give you when it comes to performance is: Don´t play on highest settings or use a lower resolution and aa off. (That´s if you want good fps, but I had highest because I wanted it to look as great as possible) Last edited by SwedKnoT; 12-27-2008 at 03:20 PM. |

I currently playing it with these settings: 1024x768 without AA&AF and evrything on medium. and the perfomance is good enough! Sometimes there are a few slowdowns but only for a few seconds so the game is playble... Now if raise the graphics settings a little bit will it playble on a low resolution?? Also i have latest gpu and Physx drivers installed! Will it work faster or look better with another driver or no?

What are your other system details?
I have an 8800gt with a amd phenom 9600 and 2gb ram. On the later levels it is struggling at 1024x768 with everything set to low. |

Intel QuadCore i7 920 @ 2.67 Ghz, 6 gigs ram, nvidia260 x 1,res=1680x1050@60hz The most important thing to remember about FPS is that somewhere between 20-30 FPS is fine; as long as it stays constant. You will only notice if your rig has considerable drops or big "swings" in FPS( i have yet to have a drop though). For example if you are playing at a constant 30 fps and then it starts to swing from 15-30 you will notice it. But if you have FPS swings of 10+ frames you will notice it. Just try to find settings that will minimize the FPS "swings". Try turning off V-Sync. That might help some of you. I personally play with it on for better stability. Hi
The framerate actually has nothing to do with any graphics setting except resolution and possibly v-sync as I've come to notice... at least not on my pc. If I set it at 800x600 and everything maxed out it runs perfectly.. still it's kind of a waste since the graphics are pretty good but you can't fully enjoy it 'cause of the low res... hope this gets fixed.. I have Dual Core @ 2700 MHz , 2GB ram and HD4670 (ATI ^^) |
