Monday and Tuesday have come and passed, and still no official word.

what's the deal? you MADE it, you must know, why is it so hard to put it into a list format and publish it.

LOL true.

We kind of know that to unlock later variants of the same plane requires 100 MP kills. I've yet to unlock a weapon pack in quite a few games. Some I won outright and others I was on the winning team, but a friend unlocked one the first game he played.
