Why is there no one playing online on ps3?

I've had the game since yesterday - I have the weekend to myself (rare) and had designated it for a day of online dogfighting. I've had a few games which have been awesome fun. Games are few and far between atm though. Especially if you want realistic or sim games - What's going on ?

they all playing on arcade mode mate.
you can select relaistic and get the blank screen up....but you can wait and if someone starts a game it does actually refresh to show it.... but it is very rare. ive not had a realistic game with more than one other person yet. Its a shame you cant join a game in progress aswell

The host should be able to open a game and decide how long it stays up and players should be able to join after it's started too.

This would go a long way to getting some games actually going. This needs to be fixed.
