According to the official website the UK version is released on Sep. 4th and the EU version on Sep. 30th.
As you're fluent in English I'd recommend getting the UK version as I did (the game will cost me 55 GBP including the express delivery fee but if I have it for the weekend it's worth it ![]() |

I think I'll stop buying games in the store and stick to Amazon UK for any future purchase... |

To add to this the US retailer Gamestop lists a ship date of Sept 2nd...

Gamestop also is giving away a promotional tshirt with the game. I have a feeling they struck a deal with 1C to get the game earlier than everyone else in the U.S.

Are you serious? All that promotional stuff makes them a ridiculous amount of money in preorders. Considering the tshirts came in last week, I am hoping for the magic Gamestop call either tonight or tomorrow. I usually get the call around 7 CST, so I have a very tense hour. Otherwise, it's tomorrow if they hold to their release date. You don't get the call until the night before the game is in the store, so if it says 9-2, that could mean in the store 9-2, could mean ships 9-2 and gets there 9-3. If they're wrong, it's going to be a very disappointing week. I have been watching this title since it was first announced and preordered it the day it entered the system. They also have extra tshirts at most stores, so if you can't preorder, you can probably still get one. Maybe we're in some kind of weird time warp where Gamestop is getting it before anyone else. They are the largest corporation in the world when it comes to selling video games (see Fortune Magazine, before we debate that too). The tshirts are nice anyway, and it's always nice to get something for preordering. If there isn't a Gamestop near you, what's stopping you from preordering online? You can get one of those prepaid visa cards almost anywhere these days. |

Sorry, I guess I skipped over your post and repeated what you said in the last post. It's highly possible. That's a sure way to corner the market in the US. Why would you go to another store when you can go there and get the game early, as well as a tshirt? I will stick with Gamestop because they are generally well-informed about the games, you get tons of stuff with preorders, and their preorder system is well established. There are some games you can reserve more than a year in advance. If standing by Gamestop gets me this game a week early then so be it. This is America, everybody has the right to shop where they please and the nature of competition is that sometimes stores get an edge on other stores, then they win. In exchange, we get early games and free tshirts. Yay capitalism!
