I don't remember much but I do know:

Spitfire MkIX-unlocked after completing the first mission of the Sicily campaign

I'll make a note next time I unlock a plane!

Good idea. If you could do the job of updating your first post with other peoples finds as they drop in would be great. I suspect this thread can be a long one.

BTW they are a bit different in PS3 and X360.
