I am waiting patiently for the demo to come to ps3, but i am already excited to play it. If i do like it, what is a good flight stick(sorry if this has been asked before). Is this good? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846

I've got the T-Flight HOTAS, which is a similar stick but with an attached (and detachable) throttle. The throttle also has rudder paddles on the front, so if you don't like to twist your stick for rudder (I sure don't), that's the one to get. It's $20 more expensive, and I'll let you all know how it performs on thursday.

It does it automatically. This game is not like the original IL-2 where you were concerned with the pilot surviving; this game is all about the planes shot down.

Holy Crap! That's what those paddle/trigger thingies are for! I am going to get that stick soon and I was looking at the pics of it and I was wondering those were for. Now I am even more excited cause I don't need to twist the stick!

I bought one 2 weeks ago and it's excellent, although I've only used it with Blazing Angels. Can't wait to try it with the demo. It's very robust and comfortable in the hand. And completely mappable. Puts the Aviator to shame. Actually I got a PS3 just because this stick is available. Highly recommended.
