Default Me 109?

Does anyone know why they wouldn't have included the Me 109 in the lineup of planes?
From what I have read, the Messerschmitt 109 was quite abundant in the ETO and was a good performer.

There are multiple versions of the Bf109 in Birds of Prey, with the E, F, and G versions all being listed on the official website or visible in screenshots and probably the K version still to come.

I wasn't aware that the BF and ME were the same. That would explain it as I did see a couple BF variants in the list. Thanks!

BF was the shortcut for Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (and BMW aka Bayerische Motorenwerke, the still existing car manufacturer, was holding shares). Willy Messerschmitt was the chief designer and 1938 he became the chairman and managing director. At this time Bayerische Flugzeugwerke became 'Messerschmitt'.

see below LOL:

if i'm remembering correctly, some of BMW engine was been drop of from the german early prototype fighter plane due high engine stress during endurance...

BF109 was using Benz engine (1,200hp Daimler-Benz DB 601N)

I'm pretty sure I've seen the K-4 in one of the videos so hopefully it will make it into the game.
