Question Why The Parachutes?

This may sound harsh, but didn't many pilots burn up whilst their plane was crashing? They wouldn't be able to bail out that easily, and on the game, every pilot manages to bail out. Unless they are very close to the ground.

Please answer, I don't mean to cause offense in any way.

Not all pilots, definetly. They can be killed, and plane can explode - both lead to death, as well as damaging plane on a low altitude.

In a real life, it was easier to see bail out from bomber - much more people there, engines are pretty far from them.
So is in the game - fighters are not so lucky.
