I just want to announce that the demo reached over 40,000 downloads in 24 hours

So you would think PS3 would have roughly the same number of downloads, right?

dissapointed actually , highly dissapointed

Its a free demo , and there are over 20 million xbox live members

i think its only that low because nobody knows about the demo

yes i understand, peoples awareness of the demo does play a major role

couldnt agreed more, i see that this game were not in the spotlight...gaming news seem putting it aside...were they blind or need me to dive bombing on thier roof top?

Well, to be fair, the name "IL-2" has very little brand awareness on consoles thus far and the demo has only been out for 3 days.

Give it some time. Word will start to spread, and with all of the demo vids popping up on the web and youtube, more people will learn about it.

For not being in the spotlight, I would say 40,000 in 24 hours is not bad at all.

It is just a free demo, but most people don't DL demos of games they are not interested in.
