Is there any disadvantage in taking all the quests you are offered immediately even if you do not care to do them right now?
Is there some sort of deadline that starts a set number of days after you take the quest? For instance would the guy hurt buy werewolf actually turn into a werewolf, causing my quest to fail, if I delayed finding a cure too long? Sensemaker |

The time only starts ticking when you get the werewolf blood quest, not when you start the game. So it is safe to leave the quest behind until you are certain that you can handle the enemy hero.

If you take the quest from the ruler who asks you to kill the ghost (in Verlon Forest?) and you decide not to do it, you will have a failed quest on your record. Similarly the ruler who asks you to make a treaty with the barbarians, and once you complete it asks you again -- if you take the quest it will fail. Several quests ask you to kill off someone, and if they have a shop that shop will be closed to you. Personally I look at the shop first, and if I decide that at, say, level 23 I'm not about to buy any werewolf elves and don't want ent sprouts that are at some shop -- or whatever is fairly worthless, I'll go ahead and kill them and get the experience points.

yep, but those two quests are not the same case at all.
quest with ghost in verlon is in collision with quest from nearby castle (this guy want to kill ghost). so, if you look in the questbook, there is a word "collision" in one of those two quests. seems that its quite all the same which quest is better to choose, whatever.. they both offer similar amount of money/exp. but, quest with peace treaty is different. there is no task collision at all. I loaded this position several times and noticed that its possible to finish succesfully second part of the quest only if your army is strong enough. otherwise he wouldnt agree. (avoided fight with barbarian who patrol on the beach and entered directly to barbarian chief, otherwise if i battle this patrol outside then chief never agreed with offer - tested more than 10 times). I just guess that this is coincidence with my army strength in this moment. (lvl7 impossible mage, leadership about 2200, all stacks maxed).. Quote:

I was bummed when I was offered the Bodyguard quest in Ardan's Peaks. The one where you escort the dwarf to the factory. I agreed, but didn't realize it had to be done immediately--at which time I wasn't strong enough to protect him. I failed the quest right away.
