Difficulty...

Well apparently my hero has lives because he was just killed and the game TOLD ME TO LOAD FROM MY LAST SAVE.

Is there anything else I should know which doesn't f*** my whole game over?

I just visited the Wizard's Tower in Arania (?) and got pwned royally by top-level NPCs. Man this game is unforgiving.

I have no idea what to do... I have a quest to find the King's brother so I'm at the tower but I am STUCK there as there is no way of freeing him past that staff of destruction.

Maybe I'm a newb... any newb guides out there? Someone? Anyone? I need hint / tips!

your in the wrong tower
(the towere were you are in now, should be level 15 before u go in)

when u see the mage tower go a bit more up a cliff
where you see a tower (like astrologers tower) there's the kings brother

in the mage tower your going to get owned hardcore:>

What about the whole 'Game Over' screen? Was that just because I got beaten by an UBER monster or...?

you can only die a limited amount of times
so be sure NOT to die TOO MUCH
