Hero model

So I know how to change the hero selection portraits(hero.txt) and in-game portraits(config.txt), but where can you change the in-game 3D model? I am not talking about adding a new model, I just want to swap two existing models, Warrior for Mage for example.

[Edit]Nevermind - I simply copied&pasted the contents of hero_paladin.atom into hero_mage.atom.

Then another problem came up - putting config.txt in /mods resulted in a crash - strangely enough, even the normal, untouched version of config.txt was crashing the game. So instead of changing the config.txt I had to extract the portret image files and overwrite the mage ones with the paladin ones with Irfanview... hack on a hack, but ultimately, it works!

It doesn't matter whether you change the links to the data files or the data files themselves but in both cases you should override via mod files, not directly inside the game packages. And I'm guessing the error is caused by a conflict because config.txt works just fine in a mod package. I have no clue what part Irfanview played in all that, according to what you said, you had no need for an image editor.
