Lucky's Treasure

So I am at the point where the king has demanded that I return the scrolls.

I have a choice now to either pay 100,000 which the king gave me 5,000 or kill Red Beard for Lucky for the scrolls.

Basically, I would like to keep all NPC's alive and not have to pay 100,000 and find Lucky's treasure!

Possible?

Can you even find Lucky's Treasure??

You have to choose to kill one of the 2 NPC or to pay. Basicly you still will have to kill the pirate of you want to marry his fiancee. There is no forth way.
But actually the best way to do is to kill both pirates. Even if someone from them sells troops you desparatelly need you still can buy them all and stash them in a castle.

You cannot find Lucky's treasure. It never exists.

Both NPCs never sell anything precious or thing you cannot find elsewhere, so it is not a big deal if you kill them.
