What is there to do in Mehgard?

First, there is the electric generator thing that needs a lever. 2nd, the chief engy debat has a quest sign over his head but doesnt give me anything In the valley of a thousand rivers, there is a gate locked that needs a key. I'm assuming I can get that key from a dwarf somewhere...seems to be Debat?

After you follow the main quest and you are sent to seek the key for Haas labirinth, you have to talk with the dwarven king, he will send you to Mehgard.

and the electric generator will stay as is - it is not working and won't be working.. no quest, no nothing... but you can still try to figure it out by yourself (double check is double check)
