Readme for unofficial 4.09b1m dedicated server:
This patch is unofficial. If you don't know what it means, don't install it.

Installation:
-take 4.08 dedicated server as base
-add fb_3do19.sfs, fb_3do20.sfs and fb_maps15.sfs from 4.09b1m game
-overwrite filesserver.sfs with sfs from this archive

“It works with both FB Deamon and IL-2 SC” <--- Tested each since early Nov with file from a Slovak site …So far so good. The file on the link above is the same file. Working on FBDj (New java version of FBD) but not fully tested with all maps and objects.
(Work still being done on IL2Maps.txt, IL2planeLoadouts.csv and IL2StaticObjects.csv)

“anti-mod protection (CRT=2) as 4.08m server patch.” <-- Tested checkRuntime 0,1 and 2 they function in the same way as in 4.08m. No more and no less protection. No effect on those who wish run CRT=0 and allow mods on their servers.

Players must have the 4.09b1m game installed in order to join this server.
(Available from other threads. Not posted here in an attempt not to confuse anyone.)
A 4.08m and 4.09b1m switcher is handy for players at this time… Several are available.

The file mentioned here is for those hosting dedicated servers only.
This is not for a player’s game or a player to host games.

Other groups have modified (are modifying) an alternative way to host a 4.09b1m server…

Yes, I thought I mentioned that above in a few places.

My English isn't very good. So, I apologize if I was unclear.

The only other mention of a 4.09b server I’ve seen mentioned on this forum is a mod server that others are hard at work on. I did not see one referring to this particular 4.091bm version that has been running well for over a month. It installs and runs exactly like 4.08m, it uses the actual 4.09b1m files that 1C released and has the same checkRuntime=2 functionality. With this version, those servers who have been slow to move to 4.09b1m may feel more comfortable.
