Hi,
I just wanted to point out two things I would like to see implemented one day into a patch or something, but since 4.13 is already far gone it seems pointless to ask this of the devs now, since they are probably already more or less done with the 4.13 features. Anyway, I would like your opinion on these two things, both I think would not be hard to implement to make the game a bit better / more enjoyable, so here goes: 1) Make a difficulty option to prevent slowing of time while in game (1/2, 1/4). This is not realistic, much like the external views, padlock and so on which have their respective difficulty setting switches, so it would be nice to have this one too. 2) A fps cap to be implemented in the menu. I noticed my Graphics card spins like crazy while in menu-s, heating up unnecessarily, beacuse the fps in the menu is unlimited. This is especially a problem while doing long work in the FMB. Not really big issues, but it would be nice to implement, what do you think? |

I agree to #2, but I don't quite understand why you need #1. If I'm not mistaken, the slow down/speed up feature is irrelevant online, so there's no need to disable it through a difficulty setting switch. And when you fly offline, you're at liberties not to slow down/speed up the game.

Yes, it would surely help to resist the temptation, but as most difficulty settings also apply to replaying tracks, it would be more an annoyance than a real gain IMHO.

I'd be happy to see the option to prevent speeding of time since I often hit the [ key when I am trying to pause the game. Quote:
But, if not it seems like a user-friendly and simple bit of coding to limit FPS when in menu, QMB or FMB mode. Perhaps a line in the conf.ini would allow it to be user configurable. |

Well, I can see now why these thing weren't implemented. Thanks for your replies. There are some tools that can cap fps that I use in the FMB, so I'll just stick to that.
