Default P36 Data

Hi - Having just posted a query on sas1946, they suggested it might be useful to post the same thing here. regarding the P36 then...

Nice aeroplane and due credit to those involved, but isn't the config data incorrect? The Curtiss P36 was for the home american market and should not be dubbed Mohawk, which was the British name for the export version, the Hawk 75, whose MkI, II, III, and IV corresponded to the 75A-1, 75A-2, 75A-3, and 75A-4 models obtained from redirected french orders. To further compound the error, the P36A and the Hawk 75 export models are not directly comparable, as the Hawk 75A-3/Mohawk III is closer to the P36C, and the Hawk75A-4/Mohawk IV closer to the P36G (Information from Enzo Angelucci, Peter Bowers, William Green)

In the readme file the plane_ru.properties info is stated as

Hawk-75A-3 Hawk-75A-3, 1940
Hawk-75A-4 Hawk-75A-4, 1940
P-36A-3 P-36A-3, 1938
P-36A-4 Mohawk IV, 1941

Shouldn't this be more accurately stated as

Hawk-75A-3 Curtiss 75A Mohawk III, 1940
Hawk-75A-4 Curtiss 75A Mohawk IV, 1940
P-36A-3 Curtiss P-36A-3, 1938
P-36A-4 Curtiss P-36A-4, 1941

No, they shouldn't. There's a small bug with the plane_ru, though, I guess. We have a Hawk 75A-3, a Hawk 75A-4, a P-36A and a Mohawk IV in game now.

Not sure if it's considered a 'bug', but I did want to make an observation concerning some of the new plane codes in 4.12. I know that most people will not have any idea what this means but players who make missions/campaigns will understand.

In 4.11.1, the code for the Hawk 75A-3 was 'P_36A3'.
In 4.11.1, the code for the Hawk 75A-4 was 'P_36A4'.

Now, TD seems to have changed the codes for these two planes:

In 4.12, the code for the Hawk 75A-3 is now changed to 'H_75A3'.
In 4.12, the code for the Hawk 75A-4 is now changed to 'H_75A4'.

Won't this have an effect in legacy missions?

In addition, they kept the 'P_36A3' code (in 4.12) but now the plane is the P-36A.

Also, they kept the 'P_36A4' code (in 4.12) but now the plane is the Mohawk IV.

Again, won't this have an effect in legacy missions?
