Exclamation Men of War:AS , EXTREME Slowdown?

Hello

Firstly i want to say thank you for this great game. My first month as a PC Gamer from XBOX and loving it so far. Picked up the jem for a 5£ and loving it so far...

Secondly sorry if my first thread is a moan, but im getting some horrendous slowdown on my PC on MOWAS.?

It literally runs down to about 5-10fps and even if i turn all gfx down it still does it. My PC (sorry not a techy, my bro built pc) can run planetside2 max and chivalry max, and most games i play race07 etc. I get this on the first USA level..

It really is annoying and hard to play?!

Please help....

I did read that it could be the Fog of war causing this?

Cheers

Sorry this is a great game when it runs smoothly.

Try to find the specs of your PC. Without this info it's pretty hard to say what can cause such slowdowns. You can use the "dxdiag" command to see full specs (click "Start" button and in the search line type "dxdiag")

Try to activate your game with GameSpy key on Steam service and use to play the game (you can download Steam client here: http://store.steampowered.com/). That should solve your issue.

No, you shouldn't pay anything extra. Run Steam client (I assume you have a Steam account already), click on Games in top menu and choose 'Activate...', then enter GameSpy key (multiplayer key) you have. Please tell us if this solves the slowdown issue.

You should have two codes, one for activation and one for multiplayer - use the multiplayer code to activate the game in Steam.
