Default 5 joysticks

Hello all, is there a way to get more than 4 joysticks to work?

You could try PPJoy. I have no first hand experience, but supposedly you can use a virtual joystick to combine multiple devices into one. Note that this will most likely stop any type of manufacturer macro software from working.

DirectInput also has a limit of 128 buttons, four points of view(POV) hats and 8 axes per (virtual)joystick.
IL2 itself may have a limit lower than this.

thanks I'll give it a try.

I don't need more than 5 joysticks, I need exactly 5.

1.ch fighterstick
2.pedals
3.throttle
4.trim wheel
5.prop,mix,rad (saitek quadrant)

for now I'm living without the last one but I use it it other sims like ROF and CLoD

Does not solve his problem: He has got five Game Controllers (as I do) and IL-2 recognizes only the first four. Touchpilot adds another (virtual) Game Controller, which would be number six and will not be recognized by IL-2 as well.
