Default Persistent German controller loop

Hi all,

I am considering taking the plunge and buying C of D but am concerned by the fact that every YouTube video I have seen of the simulation seems to have a repetitive (and annoying) German controller in the background.
The graphics look astonishing and there are a hell of a lot of you out there enjoying the game experience - my question is: can you turn off the crazy radio controller 'loop'? It seems incredibly wacky, loud and intrusive ... are you able to turn him off/down (in the settings perhaps) when you have the game running?

Unfortunately one can only turn all the voices off or try to live with it. Personally I find the voices so irritating I can only play for ten minutes or so before quitting.

Recently I did a bit of a fix for the RAF ones, and replaced all the controller samples with silent files, mic clicks and ambient chatter etc. I also swapped the pilot voices for popular 3rd party ones. It made a big difference to how the game feels. I've been working on the Luftwaffe voices a bit, but it really needs a German speaker to make a proper go of it.

You can grab the latest version of the RAF ones here

I didn't expect a response quite so quick!!
Thanks for your suggestions - I think I am going to get it ... I have just been watching some of the JG4 boys on a mission and noticed (this time) that the controller only seems to pop up when their are enemy fighters around (presumably he is monitoring on Wurzburg or Lichtenstein). However, I found that I was so engrossed in the action (the graphics are truly astounding) that it is not as irritating as I thought it might be at first.
Fantastic simulation. Cheers.
