Stuck after first prince fight

After "winning" the first prince fight, I visited the mage tower and befriended the elves. I won the cave fight with the thief mage(the fake necro fight) and kept his secret from the dwarves. I ran around killing many easy enemies and now can't seem to find any direction. Eric has his huge armies in Greenwort. Nobody will give me a new quest, and all my current quests are in areas that I can't reach anymore.
I can't get into the mine.

What am I missing?

Talk to the elf blocking the entrance to the underground in Arliana. If you befriended the elves he'll let you through to go see the dwarves.

After befriending the elves and talking to Rezo a couple of times and Eric, go to the dungeon that is "guarded" by a bunch of elves (right next to the castle in Arlania). That will let you enter the caves into New Kordar.
