Default Weather in FMB?

How can I edit weather, clouds, wind, gusts in the FMB? I only see light clouds.

light clouds is the only things you can get. Wind should work too.
If you wish a heavy cloud cover, you have to put a lot of light clouds in one spot...

This game is still very buggy and support has been stopped. You will find a lot of things that won´t work as you wish...

sorry but I also beg to differ. Most of the old advice is still valid for adding clouds/wind via fmb.

The reduced viewable distance now does make things look a little odd sometimes and the icing is very overdone imho, but it's certainly worth playing around with in fmb.

I think you are the new one.

You can do a lot of things with the clouds in this game, but the engine is pretty buggy. I didn't play around with it much in this newer versions with the really short visibility diatance.
I play around with the clouds in the older version i have, and it looks pretty cool:

What is ridiculous is that you can only get clouds at 1500 meters, not higher, and of course with a perfect blue sky above.
No overcast.
No alto-stratus

In the Full mission builder in the object list, you have a tab called "local weather". You place it on map like any other object and then adjust the parameters. I like to use Cummulus and extend the range a lot. By default the clouds will be placed in a very small circle. To extend the area covered, you edit the first two numbers in the second tab. I usually add two zeros. the third number is altitude.

The third tab is all messed up but sometimes you an make some adjustments to cloud density, winds and few other things.

You can create multiple different layers and place them at different altitudes. It looks cool and the turbulence is crazy sometimes. of course, that part of the game was declared "beta" from the start and it crashes some times.

Just play with it.

In this screenshot you can see i placed two layers way above 1500m. The top one is at 4000m i think.

Notice that you can "play" with wind without use "Local Weather" object.

In FMB > View > Mission Parameters:

This, plus standart Medium Clouds allow some "fun" - without the "weight" of Local Weather object.
