Default New graphics card...

...really opens up the game!

I know it has been said before but I feel it needs to be said again. If anyone out there is in need of a new graphics card, I really recommend the EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked 2gb. If you would be so kind as to take a gander at my signature a second, you will see just what a heap of junk I have recently slapped one of these cards into....

Everything is on high settings (Apart from shadows which remain off) and..... let's just say I was flying on Ravenhost AI today and managed to shoot down a Spitfire mkII and two Blenheims.... I then landed my 109! On the runway! Properly! I then spawned again and shot down another Blenheim.

"So? Big deal!" I hear you thinking! Let's just say... if you had ever had the pleasure of flying with me in the past you would realise that this is the equivalent of flying pigs, hens laying golden eggs and Lady Gaga suddenly developing talent.

All down to a constant, and relatively smooth (Odd hiccup now and then, of course) FPS.

Treat yourselves, 1gb graphics card users... you will not regret it.

Default I know I've been bad but .....

Dear Father Christmas,

I know I do not always behave myself as I should and sometimes I am an embarrassment to my wife amd children, which is generally linked to excessive alcohol consumption which tends to make me make inappropriate comment at in opportune times (which funnily coincide with Talk Like a Pirate Day and I'm generally dress in pirate garb?????), but I promise I'll get better in the future!

Please! Please! PLEASE! get me a Nvidia GTX 670 for Christmas!

Yours sincerly

Skoshi Tiger Esquire!

Got me a 'B' grade GTX580 3gb from overclockersUK (along with a new PC) changed everything in all games, when I do venture into CLoD now I get a constant 70fps maxed out.

Well worth it, and not just for this

It really does add a whole new dimension of enjoyment to the experience doesn't it? If only they'd been a bit more honest with the system requirements on the box.... could have saved a lot of heartache. lol

Better luck with the sequel, eh guys? (Well.. hopefully everyone has pulled their fingers out and upgraded by then. lol)

It's a great card isn't it? Especially for the price...

How are you finding performance? Reason I ask is I see you have a much better system than I do and I think that, sooner rather than later, it will be time to sling out the old CPU, mobo and ram and get myself a little more up to date and I was wondering if I may get to turn the shadows on once I do. lol
