Grrr... whenever I visit (or try to visit, it's slow enough by now), airwarfare.com, it looks even more messed up like the iteration before!
It seems now you have to actually sign up before you're able to do anything. And I don't even want to try that (besides the obvious, now-forced reason) because I believe one gets lost in the categories labyrinth that came on the site anyway. This site's history somewhat mirrors the development of CoD imo. Just keep it plain amd simple, like with three Buttons: One for Home, one for "Knowledge base" and one for "Downloads". With the latter 2 having appropriate sub-menues (and I mean appropriate, not 3500 per item, with lavish download information so that you can't find the actual download button anymore...) Meh, anyways, with the forced sign-up as of now (and the long loading times due to significant complexity overhead) it's un-bookmarked in any case. Does anyone know another competent CoD DL site? |

So impatient... If I have a problem with the food at Joe's Burgers, why would you go complain over at Jim's Burgers?
Remember.. they're the ones contributing.. maybe you should fork out the money and design one that better suits your needs. Instead of bashing other people's sites on other sites, maybe you should try to voice your concern at the site you have the problem with? Afterall, you have to register at that site just like you have to at this site. That site comes from a reputable brother/sister site called Mission4today.com.. It's helped many people in the past and if you'd give the sim a chance to get sorted out first, maybe then you'd see how the site begins to help people out better. But if you can't wait 3 seconds for the main page to load, maybe you should just adjust your patience level. If you do a search, I'm sure you'll find it ![]()

Airwarfare.com is a W.I.P. (New today, groups for special interests and one click login via facebook.) Registration is not forced, if you arrive via a link you can navigate freely (Try the links in my sig). Slow loading time should be a one off as page content is downloaded after that site should be quite nippy. I don't understand your problems with the categories as they are navigable from a single page or from a drop down menu, nothing could be more simple. At this stage the entry page will not allow me to make the menu visible to guests and today I have been trying various solutions. I have one possibility and will be trying it out tomorrow. I am simply trying to offer members the option to become more involved with the site as for it to survive it needs to be more than just a stall for drive by downloaders who grab everything, contribute nothing and then whine when they can't have their way. Thankfully the existing membership have shown more patience and you are just the minority. Quote:

One of the best things about airwarfare is its a reat place to get skins, single player missions and lots more... All in one place. I am sure just like M4T it will grow into the IL2 depository..

As I said...
So, what's the new competence site for CoD then, if there remains anyone? |
