Default Does the AI ever lose energy?

I don't think so...Even if I attack from E advantage, they just pull up and up and up, I stall, and spin for ages and thy're still climbing. They have airbrakes and afterburners and this is so ANNOYING!!!

Come on, is it only me? It's not fun, not at all.

Seriously, online flying takes too much time, and sometimes I only have 20 minutes to jump in the cockpit and have a scrap

They also fire guns in 60 second bursts and never run out of ammo.

No matter how good the AI is it's never going to be as realistic as fighting actual humans.

Main reason why I fly online to enjoy this sim. I've tried playing solo campaigns and missions and to me they just feel stale, like something from the 90's.

The only campaigns I really liked were those awesome "online wars" IL2 ones with moving fronts on hyperlobby. I forget what those were called by that was so much fun playing those back in the day along with other people online.

They were damn good fun though, total chaos at times lol.

Warclouds is/was a dogfight server for 1946.

The online wars for 1946 I'm aware of are/were:
-Air Domination War
-IL2WAR
-Airforce War
-Forgotten Skies
-Ghost Skies
-Virtual Eastern Front

I'm sure there are many more. I'm not sure if it's the case still, but it used to be that the real experten didn't bother with dogfight servers, but could typically be found in online wars.

Environments where deaths have big consequences usually breed the most ruthless, efficient and daring pilots
