I wonder if its possible to build one that actually runs on petrol rather than compressed air.

I suppose finding spark plugs might be an issue.

There is a youtube video about a guy who built a very small Ferrari "model". I think it had a 25cc 12 cylinder boxer engine. The transmission and everything was fully functional. According to him, someone small enough could get in it and drive it.

I think it was about a foot long, but, it was a long time ago so everything I've said may be wrong. Also, I may have dreamed it.

Not sure what he did about spark plugs. It might have been a diesel running model airplane fuel or something like that.
