Default Small Ki27 Fix for 4.09?

As you may know the Ki27 we have in the sim is rather lethargic in it's take off and climb.

Now I know why.

The real Ki27s had a variable pitch prop, like the German planes when the Kommando Gerat is disabled, although it was manual and not electric. The control is even modeled in the cockpit...

Wonder why it's not implemented in the game?

Offhand I think it is. IIRC one of the models has variable pitch that works, the other doesn't

I'll go and see

Well, off to the game then.

Nope, it's not modeled in either version.

There is also a fuel-gauge modeled in the P40, but it's not working either - and that plane was in the game a long time, but AFAIK it was never fixed.

Considering the patch is almost completely 3rd party stuff, I doubt you'll see that problem fixed.

or a correct working speedgauge in the Ki-27,D3A and G4M would be also fine.............showing more than ~300km/h in all of them , and as best for the two Navy planes showing knots

i wrote about this long time ago to 1C:MG via email - also mentioning the Ki-27 propeller.
no response like in the earlier days.

i realy belive the development of the IL2 series had stopped - point taken.
