Very nice to watch.

A2A does a great model of the Mk I & Ia with the landing gear hand pump lever (you can see why the Spits would wobble while the pilot was vigorously handcranking that thing). Also, the 2-speed prop control resembles a bicycle air pump handle (!) rather than a conventional lever. According to the manual, the early Spit pilots discovered that the two-speed control could be manipulated near its midpoint to provide variable pitch between full fine and full coarse. This is modelled as well which gives huge advantage in rpm control and engine performance, but unlike a true Constant Speed Prop the rpms had to be carefully monitored and adjusted with any change in boost (throttle) or plane altitude or even attitude (as if the pilot wasn't busy enough with trim adjustments -- not to mention looking out for Jerry! LOL)

yes indeed i love to fly the A2Aspit MK1a with the two-speed with electric starter
they indeed make an excellent job and very accurate and with accusim theres a revolution
i have all the planes with accusim and waiting for the next one as well
the P-51 is second to none...
