Default VGA doubt among HD 7850/GTX 560TI

Hello to all, and currently I'm using a GTX 550TI consuming 116 watts , and it runs most games. But my favorite it leaves a bit to be desired (IL-2 Cliffs of Dover). Well, I would like to improve the board without having to change source, and noticed that the GTX 560 consumes 150-170 watts, and a HD 7850 consumes 130 watts, the GTX 570 consumes 216 watts which would leave me with no source seconds. And as a more distant (financially speaking) has the GTX 670 consumes 170 watts.

What you say about me? I go in and take Nvidia GTX 560 or HD 7850 in the venture? I've never used the Radeon cards before.

if power consumption is a concern its hard to beat the 600 series.
And nvidia cards have always worked better for il2 so no brainer there.
May be best to wait and see what the final version of the game needs before buying or modding your build. Silly to try to buy hardware to get Cliffs of Bugfest to work right in its current form.

At the moment card with 3 GB of video ram seem to work the best. But nobody knows what will work well after the patch.

I think you are approachng the issue from the wrong angle.

Your problem is:
"my favorite it leaves a bit to be desired (IL-2 Cliffs of Dover)."

Your solution is:
"Well, I would like to improve the board"

So, if you upgrade from a 550ti to a 560ti you will see hardly any performance improvement

If you want to see improvement you have to go to at least a GTX570 2,5Gb VRAM
Better even GTX580 3Gb VRAM
The GTX6xx series are too expensive for now. You need to wait for the new NV Models to come out (Sepember2012) as these will lower the prices of the previous modells.

And all this suggests that trying to avoid changing your power supply will not be the solution.

My 2cents

thank you for replies, gentlemen's.

I've been thinking better and save more money and buy the GTX 670.
